Masonry

"RECYCLING" - the popular activity of recent years, has been the foundation of Brown Building Materials from the beginning.  From the 1950's through today Brown's has worked with demolition contractors reclaiming used brick.  From Washington to western Montana to southern Idaho, Browns has bought and recycled used brick to as far away as Canada and southern California.  Currently, one of our customers is looking into shipping brick to  Japan.  Here a local contractor razes a brick building, loads, hauls, and dumps the material in our brickyard, where it is cleaned and stacked.
We clean the brick and get it ready to use again

Over time we have handled a large variety of types of brick.  Colors have ranged from red, orange, tan, yellow, brown and to gray.  We've had wire/cuts, sand molds, clinkers, romans, and cords.  Here is a sample of reds that are very popular.  Also pictured are some very hard yellow wire/cuts, that are glazed on one side and/or end.  This particular brick would be very good for paving or landscaping.  We are always happy to check our inventory to try to match your needs.

We sell brick by the piece, the pallet, or the truckload.  Over time we have developed relationships with many brickyards out of our area.  If you are interested in any products we might have, we would be happy to put you in touch with the nearest stocking dealer.  If you are a contractor or individual interested in salvaging a building and recycling the brick or other products please give Ron Brown a call at 509-535-0112.

Ceramic tile is a product that we carry in a large quantity of patterns, colors, and sizes.   We are an excellent resource offering a place to search for that particularly hard to find pattern, especially as manufacturers discontinue patterns from time to time.

Ornate pieces of older facades are reclaimed whenever possible.  These architectural pieces can range from seldom found gargoyles, to attractive marble, stone carvings, ledges, and window sills.  More practical but hard to find construction materials pictured here include coping tile (to cover the tops of block walls), and slate roofing.

Masonry block is another item that we have a great assortment and quantity of.  This virtual wall of block is built out of recycled 8x12x16" block that sells for $0.75 each.
