Moldings

Besides a much larger variety of new moldings than can be shown here Brown Materials often stocks older, more ornate styles.  Extra wide casing is a very popular item that rotates in and out of our inventory.

Wall Covering

A popular product we carryis what we refer to as wane coating.  This material is very attractive when used like a wall paneling, often on only the bottom 3 to 4 feet of a wall to give an older, 'time-gone-by' appearance.  This material is new and sells for only $0.55 a lineal foot.

Wood Flooring

Over the years we have seen many different kinds of wood flooring.  A few of the used styles are pictured here.  Prices vary depending on species of wood, size, and condition.  Prices generally start as low as $0.20 per lineal foot.  We also have available a new coastal fir 1x4 flooring at $0.80 a lineal foot.

Stairway Banisters and posts

Stairway banisters, spindles and posts are often reclaimed before the demolition of buildings.  Besides these stairway parts we are now carrying new porch columns and posts.  The new  porch posts pictured here range in price from $35 to $55 depending on condition and size.  We also have imitation marble columns.

Plywood, Pegboard, Hard board, Dry wall

Plywoods inventoried vary in thickness, finish, and quality.  Besides regular plywoods, peg board, tempered hard board, and dry wall are stocked.  The miscut plywood pictured here is a more economical buy at $9.65 per sheet for 5/8", or $10.00 per sheet for 3/4".  A discount of $0.50 per sheet is given on unit purchases.

Timbers - Beams - Joists

Brown Materials is not limited to new and used dimensional lumber, but also sells timbers, planks, beams, laminated beams, joists, and trusses.  Please contact us for price and availability.

Browns also has available telephone and power poles.  Prices range from as low as $1.50 to $2.50 per lineal foot depending on condition and size.
